The Leak Defense System
How the System Works
"I'm including a Leak Defense System in every one of the homes I'm building going forward. It will protect the home during the construction phase and is a differentiating factor for me versus my competitors."

"Thanks to the Leak Defense System, we learned that our pool pump has a leak."
Homeowner

"Once we installed the LDS, I learned that the manual shut off valve for those office suites was buried inside a column, I would have had to cut dry wall to get to it! Now I can shut the water off at the push of a button."

System Components
Leak Defense System Valve
The Leak Defense System valve must be installed on the main water line and downstream of the primary shut-off valve, pressure regulator, irrigation line and fire sprinkler line.
Typical location of the Leak Defense System valve installation will be in a garage, basement or crawl space.
Control Panel
The Control Panel should be located in an easily accessible area and within unobstructed communication distance from the valve.
Once a location is chosen, make sure there is an outlet within 6' to provide power to the wireless panel with the provided 12V DC power supply.
All-Purpose Interface
Easily integrate security systems, BMS systems, and water using appliances to the LDS for added protection and expanded control.
Mobile Control
Simply register your device at catchaleak.com and enjoy remote control of your Leak Defense System. If you have multiple systems, you can monitor and control each system individually. This feature is especially valuable for someone who owns multiple residential properties.
Monitor your device from anywhere in the world and be notified if there’s a problem.
Point of Leak Detectors
The Leak Defense Point of Leak Detector (POLD) is the perfect solution for residential homes or commercial locations to simply and easily protect property from catastrophic water damage.
These multi-point electronic leak detectors can be placed anywhere there’s a high risk for plumbing leaks, typically near appliances and fixtures, and will sound an alarm if moisture is detected. Adding water sensing cable can extend the area of coverage.
